Who is Ryan Delouya?

Ryan Delouya is a writer and comedian from Long Island, New York. While attending Cornell University, Ryan won the Heermans-McCalmon Award for Dramatic Writing for his screenplay Costumes. In 2019, Ryan wrote and produced the zero-budget horror short film Copycat. He also wrote and produced the short film, Dream Girl, which received numerous awards and had its world premiere at The Big Apple Film Festival. His upcoming short films A Couple Lives Together and The Second Oldest Man Alive are expected to be released this year.

Currently, Ryan edits all episodes of the weekly series, Tino & Shelby. Ryan is the lead producer on the following live-streamed podcasts: Issues with Noah Rothman, Tap In with Tezlyn Figaro, Majority Rules with Lauren Leader, The Longest War with Albert Lewitinn, Cleary on Crime, and On The QT. Ryan also shot and edited the launch campaign for the Dustpick.

One time in freshman year of high school, Ryan farted loudly during a Global History exam. One of his buddies called him out for it, and the entire class stared at him. Since it had been raining, Ryan lied and said that the noise actually came from his sneaker sliding against the wet floor. The kid then told Ryan to prove it by recreating the noise, so Ryan started sliding his foot against the floor, but it would not make a sound. Then, during one of the attempts, Ryan farted again, and then everyone believed it had been from his sneaker all along.

Ryan has been performing improv comedy at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre since 2014. He can also be seen performing stand-up comedy at clubs around New York City and occasionally in the Metaverse. When he is not working on films or performing comedy, Ryan enjoys playing tennis, gaming, and discovering new music. He lost his virginity in 2015.
